“Oh no” I said as the door slammed, I knew I had forgotten my shoes. At that moment I was aghast I would forget such an important item to wear. My mothers advise rang through my head “get everything ready before you go to bed or you might forget something” I knew I should have heeded it. Now I know to make sure I have everything ready to go the day before because I shouldn’t be getting things together at the last minute, and being late is definitely not excellent. The next time this happens I will be very wrathful.
